LTAV - Working for you and your business
The association is operated and run by members. All livestock and rural operators themselves, representing both large and small companies and single owner operators. The LTAV is advocating on issues that face us all, at local, state and federal government level, as well as with other industry stakeholders. Ramps and On Farm Facilities, Farmers Fact Sheet, New Animal Welfare Regulations, Fatigue Management, Registration and Road Networks, Chain of Responsibility, Truck Lane Restrictions, VLLS, Accreditations, Education, Saleyards and Truck Wash facilities are all issues currently being addressed by the LTAV.
The support from our national body, Australian Livestock & Rural Transporters Association (ALRTA) also aids us tackling the big issues on a national level, with cross border anomalies and laws that change from state to state. The National Heavy Vehicle Regulator is on the agenda.
We need you to help us support and represent our unique industry and Rural Carriers at every level.
