Monthly LTAV Newsletters
The ALTA prides itself on listening to the members issues and tackling the issues that affect your day to day business as well as matters of high policy.  No issue is too small and we often find it links well to larger issues we are dealing with.  If you are a livestock or bulk carrier and feel your issues need a hearing – in the local council, in the State Government departments or in Parliament House inCanberra – the ALTA is where you should be.
Each month a newsletter is mailed out to your business.  Each newsletter contains information regarding national, state and local issues right down to what is happening in saleyards and truck washes.

Well this is the section for you.
Listed under Victorian & Interstate information here members are able to get the information they need around the clock to assist with running your business.
 This is a weekly newsletter that is emailed or faxed to our members every Monday and is also available on the ALTA website. It contains important information for livestock transporters to help you in your day to day operations and to keep you abreast of what the pollies are doing and how we are tackling the issues impacting on our industry.
Mobil Fuel Discounts 
TruckCare
As a member of a State Livestock Transporters Association you are eligible for a discount on all diesel and unleaded fuel purchased through Mobil.
You are still required to apply through Mobil and go through their standard procedures for applying, but the discount is well worth it.
 The ALTA administer TruckCare and are currently revamping the Manuals for the operators, auditors and facilitators, to make it easier for you to become accredited and maintain your TruckCare Accreditation. We are working with scientists from the Animal Welfare group and consulting with auditors and facilitators to bring you a simplified version which will include templates for you to use to assist in keeping the 'paper trail' required
